Our Debate Club had the exciting opportunity to lead a workshop at Lusaka International Community School (LICS). Students from both schools joined in small groups, sharing ideas and debating techniques.
The day culminated in a lively, mixed-school debate on the bold motion: “Is the Era of Liberal Democracy Finished?” Minds were stretched, laughter filled the room, and friendships were forged.
For Crucible students, it was a chance to lead with confidence and collaboration, putting into practice the skills they’ve been building in Debate Club.
Debate is about more than argument, it’s about leadership, listening, and learning from diverse perspectives.
At Crucible, we believe education is about more than academics, it’s about leadership, collaboration, and character. Follow our publication to stay updated on how our students are preparing to become pioneering leaders for a prosperous Zambia.
